Ahh the days when I sold all my barbies (just cause my cousins loved them did NOT mean I was a fan) and earned the most money and was TRIUMPHANT!! Good times. :)

I am not surprised to hear your dad is getting on the eBay train, and I have no doubt that he will be a freaking rockstar at it! I could probably use a few of his tips.

Also - I'm so jealous you went to Jacques Cabaret! I've only been there once but they were closing as we arrived, and there was no cabaret. I must go! It looks GLORIOUS!Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01631104345125451841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16549448.post-65117450799865018892008-07-07T12:55:00.000-05:002008-07-07T12:55:00.000-05:00R - I just got a paper shredder and have yet to pl...R - I just got a paper shredder and have yet to plug it in! Maybe I am not so organized...

A - Maybe in the fall or end of August for Cape? Weekday for beach??

EE - Sounds like a plan, but we're already committed to a family yard sale in the fall. Maybe if there's stuff we can't sell leftover I can hand it off? Also we have or will have very shortly our own eBay account...Dad's retirement time has already proved fruitful :D I will keep you in mind though for later though.Alhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05557524279832095106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16549448.post-74954103963456020512008-07-04T11:18:00.000-05:002008-07-04T11:18:00.000-05:00Al! I am currently working on starting up an eBay business that will last just long enough to get rid of my unwanted books/clothes/shoes/random crap as well as the accumulated STUFF of those I love. You sound like a perfect candidate! You want to get rid of stuff. You want to save money for house/wedding. You have no time to waste diddling about on eBay.

I propose: You clean out your closet/basement/attic for the stuff that you are really never going to use again. You fill a couple of bags and meet me for lunch where I take it off your hands. Storage problem solved! (I love having a big apartment :) You pay nothing for eBay fees and do no related eBay selling work (which truly is a pain in the ass; i don't know how my aunt does it for a living) and when one of your items sells, I give you 70% of the selling price!

Think it over, love. All details negotiable... ;)Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01631104345125451841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16549448.post-25652893837404669032008-07-03T10:01:00.000-05:002008-07-03T10:01:00.000-05:00Beach sounds good - I'll get my scheds out and see...Beach sounds good - I'll get my scheds out and see when I have a day off.
